We have a Christmas gift for you!

We have a Christmas gift for you!

Our very first mobile application (Android, iOS) that will enable you to publish / schedule / share posts from your mobile devices.

iOS Apple Store – https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/friends+me/id1164926573?ls=1&mt=8

Android Play Store – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.friendsplus&utm_campaign=googleplus

It is a very basic application at the moment and we’ll keep adding more and more features until it’s a fully featured alternative to our web application.

Merry Christmas Everyone and Happy New Year!

  1. Been playing with the iPhone app. Very nice job!

Now for a bug report: When I open the app, the text of the last post published from the app is still in the entry field, along with the link associated with that post. The only way to clear it is to save it to drafts. That field should clear automatically when a post is published.

Feature requests: Ability to change the order of the queue, and edit posts in the queue.

When sharing links from the extension, the app should detect images in the link and provide the option to share the image(s) as attachment(s), giving the user the option to select which image to share if there are multiple images.

  3. Update on the bug reports: I was partly wrong. I haven’t been able to figure out a pattern to when previously shared posts aren’t being deleted from the iOS app. Sometimes they are deleted, sometimes they are not.

It’s possible the undeleted posts are ones I decided not to publish. If that is the case, there needs to be a way to cancel a post before posting.

New bug: The so app doesn’t share New York Times pages. The app does not seem to detect the URL.
